Inside the Experience
La Roma Pizzeria, nestled in the bustling District Shopping Complex on Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar, offers a straightforward yet satisfying dining experience. Known for its good-quality food and non-spicy dishes, the pizzeria caters to those seeking fresh and wholesome meals without the fuss of overly intricate service. The establishment features two distinct dining areas that influence the ambiance — the main restaurant tends to fill up quickly, while the smaller section provides swift service in a more modest setting.
One of La Roma Pizzeria’s standout features is its seafood selection, particularly the Rawas fish, which has earned high praise for its freshness, generous portions, and consistent quality. The restaurant’s reputation as a reliable source for quality fish dishes is well-deserved, making it an attractive choice for seafood enthusiasts. However, not all dishes hit the mark uniformly; while chicken offerings are decent, they don’t quite match homemade flavors, and some fried items like prawns might come off as overly oily. Attention to comfort could also be improved, as the table and chair setup has been noted to affect the dining experience.
Overall, La Roma Pizzeria strikes a balance between fresh, tasty food and a casual dining environment. It’s a place that promises satisfying fish delights and decent meals in a straightforward setting—perfect for a relaxed evening out or a casual dinner with friends. If you’re looking for quality seafood in Amritsar without the trappings of fine dining, La Roma Pizzeria is worth your visit.
“ Good food, decent ambiance, they have two restaurants so depending on where you seat your ambiance experience will vary. We went on a Sunday for dinner, and the main restaurant was full. We were seated in the smaller one, the service was quick, but don’t expect fancy restaurants like service here. Food is good non spicy, and good quality. I’m yet to try the sea food here, but chicken dishes tastes well. Sol kadhi was quite spicy. ”
“ The ambience was descent not that good to say Wowww..... Talking about dishes, only try fish dishes that to Surmai.Don't try prawns at all as the fried ones are too oily.Don't try chicken it has a descent taste, you can make better chicken at home than there's.The one thing they should look after is the chair to table height i felt that the tables were to high enough to eat. Also you have to wait here as there is not much space here that everyone would get the table on arrival.Mostly reserve the table on weekends if you want to visit because the crowd is too much on weekends.Overall the experience for me was ok. ”
“ Fabulous. Great fresh tasty Rawas fish as always. Quantity is good too. Serves 5-6 square pieces of Rawas. Most importantly they are fresh and this restaurant has a reputation of serving quality food. If you are looking for fish delight choose this one, you won't be disappointed. ”
“ Malvan Samudra Honest Review! Malvan Samudra is one of the oldest restaurants in Vikhroli (West) specially known for its authentic sea food and Indian food. It's taste was great especially it's sea food. Good Ambiance and you can visit here with family and friends. They serve Malvan cuisine as well as chinese and others. The specialty is Bombil chilly. I also ordered bheja fry. It was awesome. They got many fish and chicken dishes as well as mutton. But when we visited the last time the results were disappointing and the taste was not good as always. We ordered Chicken Handi and ended up regretting because first of all the prices were too high and chicken handi was eventually tasteless, it was not even spicy , no salt was added to it. Before main course we ordered Chicken Crispy too but it's taste was average. With chicken we ordered wade and bhakris they we good as it doesn't need anything miracle to make good bhakris and wade. We expected main course to be tasty but it wasn't. But still if you are willing to visit this place you should take a chance. Surely try their Solkadhi with main course and they vary with many fish thalis and chicken thalis. Eat Fresh Stay Healthy ”
